The official date for Tesla Motors IPO has not been released to the public, no word on whether it's been decided upon at all. This is one stock I would not miss out on buying in early. Toyota's $50M investment in January '10 and Tesla's recent procurement of a proper production facility further cement my belief that Tesla Motors will become a major player in the US and worldwide automobile markets in future years. Their shepherding of unrealized EV performance and potential shows that Elon and his team have the innovation and technological know-how to forever change the auto industry. Keep your eyes out for the Model S slated for delivery in 2012.
